I Will Wait on the LORD

Ok. I wanted to do Saturday's entry instead of the Wednesday one. :p

To wait = to trust.

To wait for = to wait on?
I'm supposing they mean the same thing...
...but at the same time I know they aren't exactly the same.

We are able to wait for God in confidence because we have already experienced the faithfulness
with which God accomplished his longtime plan.

To wait for = to be faithful?

If that's the case....

I will be faithful to God, because He has been faithful to me first.
(like the present perfect tense? =D)

It's weird to say this because, of course, being human,
I know I will break this promise sometime in the future.

But I hope I will continue to say this when that time comes.
